There's No Crying in the 10K

I am running in a 10K this morning. (6.2 miles)

Here's how I trained for it:
~~Ran three miles three weeks ago
~~Hiked for 10 minutes this past Monday
~~Extensive carb loading since summer

My goal, aside from finishing, is to finish without sobbing.

This kind of feels like the time I thought I could climb Everest just because I read Into Thin Air.

and there were no tears! there were drops of sweat dripping from everyone's faces, though, which is kind of the same thing when you think about it.
